These text strings are stored and then transmitted back to the website that issued them on each subsequent page visit. This allows websites to identify the user both for the duration of the session and for longer periods. This allows the site to automatically adapt to the user, improving the user’s browsing experience. In addition, cookies provide the site operator with information about users’ browsing, including to obtain statistical data on site usage and improve site navigation. Cookies can be divided into:
1.1. Technical cookies
Technical cookies are used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the contracting party or user to provide such service”
- “Browsing” cookies : are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and vanish when the browser is closed. They are used only for the transmission of session identifiers, which are necessary to allow the safe and efficient exploration of the site, avoiding the use of other more invasive computer techniques for users, and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.
- “Functionality” cookies : They adapt the presentation of the site to the display preferences of the user’s computer (e.g. language, screen resolution, operating system used, etc.).
- Cookies “analytics” : They are assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the operator of the site to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. They are used to optimize the management of the site itself. The information collected by these cookies does not allow the user to be identified.
1.2. Profiling cookies

1.3. Using this site may install cookies from other sites, operated by other parties (“third parties”). In this case, the Site Owner acts only as a technical intermediary between the user and these third parties. Through such cookies, information may be collected from the browsing terminals that visit the site.
